Additional Information: | HistoryThis is the culmination of roughly 10 years of audio work, learning, trying out new things, and ultimately publishing the results to the internet. The origins of The Annual Series came from a vibecheck of sorts with some friends. Then remixing the same track every year as a tradition, whether or not it got finished and uploaded, there would normally be something to show for it by the next year. ObjectiveThis will be the last time an original "annual track" as usual will be published in this series. Roughly 10 years since the original. I think it is only fitting to retire this series at this age so we can move onto the next project! I can foresee revisions in the future, as knowledge and methods improve. Maybe sound choices, or whatever else will change, with the original track arrangement remaining inherent. The Refined MixThe Annual Series refined mix at the end includes cuts of only the revised editions of the tracks in the series. I did my best to mash it up in track order, and how I thought it would fit well enough to listen to. The average tempo sits around 128-132BPM, and occasionally will jump in and out of that pace as it may vary in the original tracks. The music video finally includes the 3D model of the "Eyes of Venix" logo that I've built up over the years. I'm pretty damn proud of it, and it's close to how I imagined the 3D model to come out to be. I just wanted a symbolic spinner. I made it using blender in 2025 on a shabby gaming laptop, then rendered it using one I bought in late 2025. The GPU being of incredibly high power allows me to really dive into the VFX and just spam all the post processing I want. Despite the power upgrade though, zGameVisualizer still cripples itself, bringing the GPU's task manager graphs to nearly 99% power, causing pretty much everything else to become stuttery running at sub-40 fps. Still a vast improvement from 6 to 7 FPS regardless. |

FAQ: Production over the course of a decade with changes along the way. Publishing to distribution channels and finalizing every single piece of documentation took... like 5 months? I did it all myself, so there was a lot of learning curves.
FAQ: The tools used in the production of this whole series are "FL Studio" for the music. "Serif Drawplus" for the graphics. "OBS Studio" to record certain video elements. "Mp3tag", and "Windows 10" for the file manager and OS. "Focusrite Scarlett 2i2" and a pair of $40 JBL headphones. Yeah, I mastered it on cups. I'm sure it played just fine through my car speakers too.
